3 people, one just riding the bikes up and 2 taking turns on downhill?

any place like that with a road where we can do lots of downhill by taking car up all day, preferably some more difficult single track with jumps, rock gardens etc?

thx

after going to mammoth multiple times this year its ridiculous how much I improved as i got the chance to ride a lot of downhill (instead of 15 minutes per day).

A little farther south there's the Viejo Tie-Chiquito Trail (off of the San Juan Trail), although it has a mile of climbing at the end. It's a quick (10 minute?) shuttle.

I know people do shuttle runs fairly often somewhere on Angels Crest, but I'm not sure exactly what trails they use.

They are shuttling up to Mt. Wilson. However, if they are planning to do Upper Merril, middle Merril and lower Merril via the tunnel, they are breaking the law because that area is still closed from the Station Fire, at least I think so...

Yeah u can drive up to Mt Wi, but seriously it aint no damn resort mountain. Aint nowhere around here is like a resort. Thats why Mammoth is a resort and Whistler is one. For example going to an Indian Casino aint like going to las Vegas.

Mt. Pinos/ Frazier Park, easily accessible where many runs could be had in a day. I think it is like a 7-8 mile run. But that is 90 min from Downtown and not the most technical. Definitely not a good place for full on downhill bikes.

Glendora Truck Trail, I have shuttled this one. there are two routes, the lower with rock garden and the other is technical steep granite face. Still its not Mammoth!

There is always Ontario, this is where Aron Gwinn started.

Any one know of any trails on the Cleveland besides san juan, bear cyn, and el cariso tt. i live in elsinore and i know of one unnamed trial off the ortega. i also heard of one off south main divide down to murrieta... just dont know how to get to this one. Are there any others in the area?

I ride El cariso TT up to work in the morning (1hour) and ride it down to go home (10 min).
