Is there a perfect bar light

A previous thread sort of sparked an idea in the Trout.
what would be the best bar light .
all the lights out there point forwards and rely on power and beam spread
but we can do any configuration we want .

Here is the basic idea for a bar light and no helmet light.

the light turns and points where the bars point
So you have a spot and a medium looking forward .

then if you had another 2 lights sort of sideways, downwards, and forward on the bars at say 45 degrees to the forward pointing lights each side then as you come into a switchback and look left or right it is lit up before you turn the bars then as you turn into the corner there is never a dark area .

With the XPE and tiny optics one each side tucked under the riser bars tuneable to the correct angle would be ideal .

Am I mad :incazzato: or is this a good

What do you do when you launch off of a jump? With a bar light, I don't see the landing anymore. Yes, it does add more excitement, but it freaks me out.

And with bar-light&headlights, watching someone go ass-over-tea-kettle or a pileup in a choke point is much more spectacular, like a Pink Floyd laser lightshow.

Being an old git mtber 6 inches is big air this has never been a problem .

Now with my idea you would see your landing/ crashing point iluminated just before impact. and also the trees in the periferal vision for the memories in hospital.

A really cool thing would be to have gyro stabilized landing light, always pointing slightly downwards regardless of the angle of the bike.
Ok, much easier to use a helmet light, but it would be a fun thing to build.
hey trout, look at my first thread on this forum:

scroll through the FIRST message :D

if you can manage to do it you'll have the ultimate bar light.

(i've discarded the idea and concentrating on a more traditional light as first build - still waiting for the components)
