The pricing almost seems too good to be true. Anyone can verify that’s ordered from them?

Finally there is a picture of a polygon bike on the front page and I thought they were direct to consumer.

Happy to be corrected

No physical address listed on the site, some lorem ipsum still on the site, American owned but based from Australia (??).... as it stands there are a lot of red flags IMO.

Yes lots of red flags. Prices are great. Lots of bikes in stock when no one else has them. They sell YT which is supposedly factory direct.

www.richbicycle.com

Has a website registration in Iceland. An IP address from US.

The majority of their website is also hosted at this website: Learn More About Us | Bicycles Online (AU)

which looks like a legit website and who's whois search leads to a real human name and physical address unlike the OP site.

This is 100% scam.

Well, I just made a purchase of a bike that isn't available anywhere and I'm pretty sure I got ripped off. I'll report back.

Sorry about that. Let us know so others have another data point.
My follow up...

Well, whoever this seller is messaged me told me they were 100% legit after I got curious. I panicked, esp after reading this. I asked for a refund after they had a $11K authorization that my credit card company would NOT retract. I argued with the CC company for hours to retract the pending authorization, to no avail. I asked the seller to cancel my order. The seller did cancel the authorization and did not rip me off. I asked them to call me and just send me the bike if they are legit, they did not call. They COULD have easily kept my money and had me fight the CC company for months, and perhaps lose the dispute. SO, there you have it. I'd call before I buy from here and try to get more info. My experience is inconclusive.
Edit, website is fake as can be. Took 11k from me and I'm disputing it with Capitol One now.

How did it escalate from the April 24th post? Seems you had the CC company withdraw the authorization. Did they not do so?

This is probably frustrating to rehash so understand if you don't want to do so.

I checked my CC statement sometime around the 24th, and the pending charge was gone. It must have been some odd time between when it wasn't pending or cleared. My wife was doing the CC bill and the charges was back as a cleared charge. The CC company took the money back from the vendor. However, if the thief challenges the charge retraction, I will essentially have to prove my case against his and it could be along drawn out dispute and there's no guarantee the dispute will go in my favor. Fingers crossed.

I do know this person claims to be in Australia, with an website registration in Iceland, an IP from the US, the charge cleared in Italy, and the advertise a brick and mortar store in California. I have not received a bike, and the person "said" they were cancelling the transaction, yet I was still charged. I'm very good at spotting online scams, but obviously was overly optimistic about this site since this bike isn't available anywhere. So, maybe not that good at spotting scams. I've reported this to google, the FTC, and IC3. Hopefully the site gets taken down.
