Is NORCO WOLVERINE GOOD FOR LITE URBAN AND DJ?!!!!

I am being offered a 2004 Norco wolverine with Marzocchi Mx Comp ETA, Eston EA 50 bars and Rhyno lite Xl rear rim for $800 Canadian dollars. It belongs to my friend but hes moving away for college and he selling me the bike. I would like to do some dirt jumping, trails once in a while and mostly urban riding. Im not an agressive rider so 5 foot drops is the most ill ever do. Im not that conserned about the frame its mainly the fork because its made for xc not dj.
Can anyone help the noob and tell me if this bike will serve me well???

Thanks for your time :)

If you have urban experience, a Wolverine might be able to take a 5' to flat drop.. but in all honesty, 800 isn't that great of a deal on a Wolverine. You could probably get a Specialized P.2 or Norco Bigfoot.

Haro Escape X.3 is around $800 and you get a Marz Dirtjumper 3 fork and the frame looks beefier.

You'd get more responses if you post in the "what bike to buy" forum or the Canadian manufacturor's forum. There doesn't seem to be many Norco owners around here though, since I posted a Norco Six question and nobody answered (or they just don't like me *sniff* :( ).
