Wow thanks for the replies guys. I originally wanted to go for a mid level bike and the probable options in the local stores were Cannondale trail 7, Merida Matts 20 and finally when Trek dealer opened up the shop a week ago for the first time in my country, I saw the gorgeous looking Wahoo and Marlin.
Now, I know that all these bike are entry level for you guys but from our local market perspective these are kinda bikes with strong reputation which gives a "mid level-ish" standard. I've got a very tight budget of 850$ MAX. I don't mind it getting further cheaper but then again quality and reliability comes with high price.
Can someone please tell me which of the bikes mentioned above (Cannondale trail 7, Merida Matts 20, Trek Wahoo, Trek Malin) is the best for all rounding in both urban roads and rocky paths?
Kross is a polish brand and one of the biggest bike manufacturers in EU. Times when they produced walmart-like bikes are long gone. Kross may not be as well known as Trek or Specialized but their products are match for the best brands on the market.
They even managed to get Maja Wloszczowska to their racing team
I'm testing bikes for one of the big MTB portals and have a rare opportunities to ride almost any bike available. When it about ride and build quality Kross bikes are as good as any products of any other big brand.
