I vaguely recall a 650b Hi Fi conversion being posted here, maybe 18 months ago. But for the life of me can't recall if it was a full conversion or a front only...

Cheers,

I didnt see that bike but It was a front converstion only. I tryed to fit my neo-moto equiped wheel, the tire made a lot of contract with the chainstay bridge. So in a word, no, it wont work. Shame, cause it would be a really fun bike with 650's

what a pity, 650B and G2 geo would have made for a great ride.

I converted a 07 HiFi Pro to 650B in the front only. Not enough room in the rear. The geometry was better than my 69er conversion. I wish I could use the G2 geometry with a full 650B setup. That would be killer. Here is a pic.

What about converting a Hifi 29er? Would that handle okay? I had a Hifi 26er for one season. Fun bike.
Here is a pic of my 96er conversion.

Is it possible to buy a 29er rear triangle to replace 26er rear triangle and than fit a 650b wheel and tire? Or modify it to accept a 650b rear wheel? Too much money? Maybe.
