Injection molding requires a stringent quality control department. Their sole purpose is to do various inspections at various points in the molding process using a wide array of instruments. I know this because I am a lead Toolmaker and build injection molds who often has to work closely with said department during testing and manufacturing (we have that capability in house) I also know that alot these bike companies have their frames laid up in the same factories, they just swap molds out but it's the same quality control department. The reason quality control took a hit industry wide is due to lack of man power within the department during the pandemic. Which leads to over worked/stressed out employees that make mistakes. Even minicule mistakes in the molding industry can lead to some unstable product because the tolerances in injection molding are so tight. The margin for error is often within .001 or even .0001 which is ten thousandths of an inch.

Doesn't matter how well a tool is built, (It does, that's just hyperbole to make an overlaying point) There are too many variables in the molding process that can cause it to start running poorly. That's why QC exists. They're the conduit to ensure a good product.
