2/22 report

I live across the street from the park and I tried to ride it on the 22nd but everything North facing was still snow and ice covered and there was still ice and snow on sections in the tress. Based on that I would bet there is a fare bit of mud on those trails, but the exposed areas I can see from the house and driving by are very dry. Lot's of people were on the trails over the weekend. Hope that helps.

Bear Creek State Park is a mixed bag right now. The trails on the North side of the park near Morrison road are all in good condition. But most all of the trails near the lake, especially those on the north shore, are still snow packed and/or muddy. All in all, probably not really worth riding right now unless you want to combine the north side with some of Green Mountain.
