My opinion... I tend to eventually break frames. If I spend a lot of money on a bike, I like to have a warranty to protect my investment. That said, if the price is right and you understand that you're on the hook to replace the frame on your own dime, that's okay too.
In the other post, I said that I thought that the price was a tad high because I did a Google search and found that the same bike was being sold, probably on clearance, for $350 at Nashbar. It's not available any longer, but Google is still showing that price in it's shopping results.
