Hey all! I was curious if any of you had bought anything from this site: http://www.licycleworx.com/Default.asp To me the site looks either new, unfinished or both and I am unsure about ordering anything from there. I have a 2006 7Point and I am in need of a new upper shock pivot bolt. Can't seem to find parts anywhere anymore, but need to get riding again!

Also, has anyone looked at the Iron Horse website lately? It says coming soon!? Anyone know if something is in the works? It used to be totally gone... http://www.ironhorsebikes.com/

Yeah, I am pretty leery of a site which gives no address or phone number:nono:

It's there, but you really have to dig for it:

Li Cycle Works
1600 Calebs Path Ext
Hauppauge, NY 11788
631-680-7830

I think it's worth noting that the first poster who I saw give the link was "ihateu," who i'm sure we all remember from this thread:

Haha, you both kinda reinforced what I was thinking. I guess I'm gonna have to make the bolt.

I think Li Cycle Works is the same as these guys: http://eccyclesupply.com/. Same street address at least.

Wasn't EC Cycle Supply started by the guys who were canned by IH before it went under? Pretty sure it was mentioned in BRAIN. Regardless, to me it's worth risking $60 to get my IH running again.

Please report back what you find out...I could use an extra pivot set for my 6point.

I sent you a PM with the info of the guy that I bought a lot of parts from.
I got pivot kits and a spare lower link from him.

But seriously guys do think some sheister would waste their time posting photos of Ironhorse pivot kits in the hopes of bilking them out of $60 ish dollars. I am pretty sure the same guys selling the kits are the ones I bought mine from.

Thanks. I just tried that number. I could not make out the message beyond the first "Yo!" but I'm pretty sure it was not a bike shop (or any legit business) :eekster:

That's hilarious! That site is definitely in need of a tune-up if it wants to appear legit, although like Wormvine said, I doubt an internet criminal would go through the trouble of setting up a fraudulent site to try to lure prospective IH pivot kit buyers. Most likely the site just isn't quite set up yet and was purchased as a template, that could be the owner's personal cell or something. I found the contact info here:

I would go through http://eccyclesupply.com/ to get parts instead. That's where I got my Azure pivot kit and lower link, they were very responsive.

Hey guys, the site is legit. It is currently being worked on and they are adding stuff daily.

If you do not see something on the site just email their customer service department at [email protected] for questions.

1.631.780.5360 is the phone. This has been updated.

Any questions feel free to PM me .

Yeah, I saw those, but $84 for both ends?:eekster:
You only need one end - the upper link is the only one that rotates (like they even state) and causes the premature upper shock bolt/bushing wear like the OP (and the rest of us with DW rockers) is experiencing. Best $42 you'll spend on her! I've noticed my bike is more compliant now over fast stutter bumps too!

Have FUN!

Well, I needed top and bottom and I just ordered them both for $14 from the store linked to above. Wish I had looked there before ordering the bearings from Enduro. They have all the suspension bearings, the pins for the upper and lower rear links, and the shock mounting bolts all for $45.

I just ordered some parts from this site for my 6point6. Seems like a legitimate shop to me. I will let you all know next week...

Thx...Doug

I Just bought derailleur hangers for a 2002 SGS-dh from eccyclesupply.com - the web site is not up for orders but does contain a phone number. Call and ask - my hangers arrived today as described.

I ordered a set of shock mounting bolts from them last week. Stuff showed up pretty quickly. They seem perfectly legit
