These tires work well in all conditions. I have both sizes 2.1 and 1.95 and have been pleased with the results. I can not comment on extreme mud but they have been great so far in a wide variety of conditions.

My new Yeti came stock with tubeless 2.1 IRC Seracs. After running Panaracer Fire XC Pros for years, I was very impressed with the traction that these tires had while climbing. Sticky and grippy! Unfortunately, the rear tire is wearing pretty quick. I've been riding mostly hard-packed singletrack this summer (in CO) and, unfortunately, can't otherwise attest to their performance in the mud. Sorry.
