For those of us that want to be fit for fight in April its time to start taisting some higher intensity intervals.

I am bored to death of the music that I have been using since november and looking for 1-1.5hrs of motivating music from all makes and forms.

I was hoping that we could start a playlist thread with your 10 fave interval tunes.

I think this has been done before, and I think I wrote Radiohead, The National Anthem, the cadence is just right for me.

I personally find that various kinds of electronic music is the best for my long rides, no song breaks, there are fast parts and slow parts and you can match your riding with those, really works well for me.

Digitally Imported (www.di.fm) has a ton of great stations, ranging from more downtempo relaxing music, to very fast music, it really works out well for me.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, there are about 40 different stations, so it can definitely be hard to find one that fits you. If there are any electronic groups you already like, try to find their genre, and then listen to that station, or otherwise I would just sample some and see what you like.

I usually watch cross races with flemish commentators (they're usually pretty funny, they are so relaxed in their excitment) with pretty much any music as a background.

Usually for me it's the latest download from friskyradio.com. If I am really struggling to get going or want to work in a really high hr zone, I'll listen to anything by NIN.

If you are looking for some cool youtube mtb vids, check this guy out he has full footage from the euro mtb races:

Good call...

on the RATM. I also have a live Rage DVD from Mexico City which I watch a lot on the trainer. The music and the crowd's response are unreal.

For me music blaring in my ears is a distraction and I need all the focus I can muster to do intervals.

The Green Day collection (I have all but the latest...is it any good?) on random play does a pretty darn good job of mixing up tempos. But I usually just have random music in the background while watching a Coach Troy Spinerval.
