Internal cable routing - what do you do with it?
I’m converting a bike to SS which has internal cable routing... I rarely (never) keep bikes forever, so I figure I should retain it for resale, but I’m wondering what other people do with it.
If I remove the cables (it’s a 2x) I imagine that will be a PITA to reinsert. And then, plug the holes?
It’s a 2016 Farley 5, for reference.

Put stickers over the holes.

Replacing internally-routed cables is kind of a pain, but I can't see it being a deal breaker.

"The good news is that this bike has low miles and I can sell it to you at a good price."
"What's the bad news?"
"You'll have to route shift cables through the frame."
"Nooooooo! You bastard! How could you do this to me? For the love all all that is holy, I have kids! We'll never recover!"

Most internally routed cables are pretty easy to replace these days, all the trek ones I've worked in are really easy. There are little rubber plugs for the holes, most bike shops should have them.
