I need to know whether or not I should just take my carbon placeholder to Diablo for the rest of the season in hopes of a getting into a replacement frame to sell as new, or if I should still ride it as an AM bike...

Add to that, I don't think Turner is at Interbike this year. Pretty sure they are all traveled out for the year!

No RFX in the booth (small booth this year with just the new 2012 model bikes), and I didn't get a chance to ask DT how things are going with the RFX. He's a pretty popular guy at Interbike.

People have been pretty bummed about the lack of communication from Noel about the Chilcotin release, but NOTHING compared to what DT has had to endure with the RFX the past couple of years.

If I were Dave, I wouldn't even TALK about an RFX until I had frames in my hand.

Do you have money down on an RFX? If not, then too bad!

Oh, yea, I'm familiar with the Knolly debacle. Been there, done that. Maybe not so much verbal backlash due to people talking with their dollars. DT never took deposits, so he gets the verbal smackdown.

DHR has been there for a while -with several iterations.
That pont of down hill race bike was under RFX heading, so a bit confusing.
Said that I missed the sticky post by Gregg of mtbr up there on the page. So RFX discussion should've refered to that thread, maybe..?

I am pretty sure you are misunderstanding what he is saying. The RFX will not be a downhill race bike.

I'm gonna abuse the carpet fiber Sworks enduro for another season I guess. Maybe get a DHR to fill that new turner "want" void in the meantime.
