When I lived in Santa Barbara in the 1980's we saw them crossing the roads and trails frequently in the spring & summer on foggy mornings. At times on East Camino Cielo while connecting the Romero Canyon climb to another trail for the drop back to town, we would see 15 to 20 in a mile or two stretch.ekoostick said:Wow I have only seen those things in zoo's!
