I bought a Raceface Evolve XC BB for my new rig and have discovered that my Park Tool BBT-2 will not clear the ISIS spindle once I start getting it tight. It appears to be a clearance issue with the inside diameter of the BB tool. Has anyone ever ground down the interior on this tool to get it to fit? Raceface has a tool, but the last of my orders may have already shipped and it is a $20 item.

Go for it. It may require a bit of grinding, though.

FWIW, all the new BBT-2's have the clearance for splined spindles.

BBT-2 and FSA / Race Face fit

The bottom brackets of Race Face and FSA required a running change in the BBT-2, which we make 2 years ago. The new ones fit these bottom brackets.

Thank you! I don't think I bought my tool more than 2 yrs. ago but maybe I got old stock. I think I'm going to try my grinding idea first (since the tool mostly worthless to me now) before buying another. Thanks again!
