Is it just me or is this just they gayest thing you've ever seen?

I'm thinking this completely defeats the whole purpose of "Mountain" Biking.

Or is it just me?

Would anyone here be attracted to something like this?

There is 3 feet of snow outside, and it 20 below. Where do you suggest they ride?

Anyone I've ever talked to that went to one always raved about them. I'd like to check one out maybe some time in the winter, for example. As many times as I've tried to ride in the winter, I just can't do it. The indoor mtb park looks like it sure beats the trainer or stationary bike in the winter too!

Darn!

I forget about snow.

I live in Texas. Pardon me for my ignorance.

It's just my first thought was that it is completely 'off' the mark. I guess the way it is presented didn't help with the image I get of a place like that.

I would agree that the presentation of the video was less than appealing, but It looked like it would be fun, especially in the colder months. Good training tool too for those of us who are feeling a little constrained by gas prices as long as it was close to home.

Ray's is awesome! I go there a few times every winter. Ray changes and adds to it every year. Supposedly this year he's gonna have a loop for the XC crowd that climbs up into the rafters. Can't wait to check it out!

Now that sounds pretty cool!

I guess I would probably be there all the time if I lived nearby, and winter prevented me from riding.

tis true. we've been building the xc loop into the rafters and over some of the other sections. while I prefer some of the other stuff we have there, I think the xc crowd will b pretty pleased. I also think it will help the flow of the place. we've added some other cool stuff too so I think that anyone who was there last year will be in for a treat once again this year. hope to see you guys out there this winter (and yes, it's hot as [email protected] in there building and riding during the summer months).

dmorales, if you ever find yourself up this way, drop me a pm. I'd be happy to take you around the place so you can see how ungay it actually is. not bustin your stones either, just asking that if you ride it and have fun, you'll post back and spread the love.

Seems like it'd be alright in the middle of winter but I couldn't get through the whole video, what with those angry young musicians so filled with angst. Nothing says mountain biking like angry screaming!

I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks.

I just heard about Rays and I'm so excited that it is about 10-20 minutes from me. I'm just getting started mountain biking (I'm only 14), so now I'll practice all winter. That XC loop sounds really cool. For those that have been there, how much does it cost? Thanks.

not ghey

We could use a place like the in Portland.Well there is an indoor bmx thing where you can ride full sized bikes once a week or something.Nothing like Ray's though. But if I was in the southwest(or anywhere) an air conditioned place would be nice when it's just too hot outside.
