Hi just been building up my 08 575 and realised that where the cable stop should be for the rear derail there is simply a cable guide. AFAIK this should defintely bee a stop and not a guide as you wont be able to hold it in place with just a zip tie as there is too much tension to do so.

It's a screw on fitting so I think someone in the factory has simply made a mistake but can someone tell me for definite please?

You should be using one peice of housing all the way from the shifter to the derailleur. Check the 08 owmers manual on the yeti site for correct routing.

That part is correct... Run full housing...

Aye i thought about that but just got XTR kits and none of the precut housing is long enough. I agree with Yetis thinking on this and it makes sense - why expose cable if you dont have to.

Yeah. Your LBS should have a big box with a coil of housing in it.
