looking to hit some sweet ST in Vegas.. ive heard about Red Rocks so anyone up for an early AM ride?? tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday..

There is a ride schedule for tomorrow at 7:00 AM Bootleg Canyon by the bathrooms pedal time 7:00 Am sharp.

well lets see... I live in Vermont so we get to ride a ton of hills with plenty of long grinds.. Im good for 2-3 hours at a reasonable pace... I figure if I drop off the back I can find my way back to the start..

Oh not me.

I am not even riding tomorrow with those guys...I was just pointing you to the only Friday AM ride I know of.

The only thing you have to worry about in bottleg are sharp razors edge like rocks, some cliffs and rattlesnakes.

They just cancelled that ride for tomorrow.
So I guess now you can pick where and when to go at your own leisure.

Thanks! I am still heading out to ride bootleg by myself for a few hours.. starting at about 7-7:30.. if anyone wants to join.. ride until 9-9:30 or so..

Takes lots of water, and then pack a little more. It's really warming up out here and BC seems to be more exposed than the west side trails, to me anyway.

Thanks Chad... I took a 3 liter camelbak and a bottle.. meet up with a few guys that ride out their often and they allowed me to tag along.. Thanks Guys!!

The Bike Shop is a great shop to hit if you are in town, nice staff, cool spot to hang out for a few minutes and they were really helpful.

The Bootleg Trails were really a ton of fun! I rode Boy Scout, West Leg, POW, Mother, IMBA and upper lake to lower lake... sence I live on the east coast we (at least me) run tubes... I found out quickly that tubes do not work in the dessert.... I only went through two of the three tubes I had on me!!

Hey Jem, i take it you shipped your bike out?
i'm also from the east coast...have riden KT....but i'm headed to Vegas in september...i'lll have to rent a bike and probably a car to get to a bike shop...have any advice for me?
