I'm too lazy to write anything clever and I'm not that smart anyway. Nonetheless, here's some pictures from late summer early fall 2005 that y'all might like. The photos were taken by myself, BMF, or John.
The rattler actually held her ground a bit. We banged rocks on the ground and it barely moved. We threw rocks near the snake and it slowly crawled off and only rattled at us when we got pretty close. There's nothing like a rattler for making you put on the brakes... except for maybe a bear. In October, I rounded a corner and found a mama and baby bear about 20 yards in front of me. The baby was pretty big but still with mama. Unlike the snake they took off right away. The dog can work over her dog toys in short order. If you look close, some of the stuffing is actually little pieces of fabric. She's loads of fun, but loves to destroy her toys.
great pics Jack. been too long since i rode up that way.
LOL. my dog does the same thing to her toys. i swear i spend more time picking up the evicerated innards of her toys than she does actually playing with them. but she's so cute.
