I have the bike set up strictly for downhill and I'm about 175lbs. with gear.
I'm considering a Cane Creek Double or the new Vivid.
Can someone sell me on one or the other.

-Thanks

Can't comment on th' Vivid, but Ive ridden th' CCDB for a yr or so and I can't find anything wrong w/it.....well one thing, the slotted adjusters were hard to adjust once the shock was installed, but CC has fixed that....so I can't say anything but good stuff about it and I have ran my mouth extensively on MTBR about it.....just do a search, you'll see. A few have complained about "spiking", but I've never experienced it w/mine.

I'll bet TNC can give you some thoughts on the Vivid. He's waaayy more knowledgeable about the spectrum of shocks out there today. He'll chime in before long when he wakes up on mtn.
