Been riding awhile. I'm 5'9" and feel pretty good on my 2018 MED FB.

Going to test a MED M6. I noticed the reach on the M6 is 1/2" longer than the 2018 MED FB. Obviously I won't know till I'm on it, but does a 1/2" in reach make a dramatic difference? While I feel pretty comfy on my FB, I always thought the reach could be a tad more. Meaning this new M6 might be perfect for me?

Any input on reach between models?

thanks
James

I demo'd the M6 last weekend as well. Climbed better than I expected, but not quite as well as my '19 FB29. I'm planning on getting the M6 not to replace my FB29, but to use for more flowy, jumpy, tight trails where the quicker handling and ease of throwing it around will be an advantage. The dimensions and geometry are nearly identical to the previous generation FB29, but it has small wheels, and that makes a huge difference in feel.
