...nothing new. I read here and other places that hydro brakes are lighter than BB7s, but when I look at the specs on the Avid website it appears to me that the BB7's are lighter. Are the weights listed for the BB7s for the caliper only and those listed for the hydros the weight for the whole system? What am I missing? Not looking for a debate, just clarification. Thanks

yeah.. just the calipers and rotors.... you are lacking the weight of the levers, cables and housing...

hydro weights are complete...
