oh and i should add killer fishing in the second spot.
2 places

I would love to return to Ireland and explore the off road trails in northern ireland (more hilly and rugged than southern area)
Another destination I would like to revisit, now that I have more downhill experience is the Austrian Alps.

I think the question was where do you want to ride, not who.
nah... post is good, some t&a is good for the soul...
I'd love to go back to Moab and Fruita areas.
We made it out there this past year but there are alot more trails left to try.
Costa Rica or somewhere in South America (Chile) would be great.
My wife wants to try Iceland.
That was agood post cheers.
ditto on Iceland, some mtb mag had a recent article on riding epic singletrack in Iceland and it looked nothing short of phenomenal...The Italian Dolomites also look like they'd make for an amazing bike trip...
I'd head back to New Zealand. Great road and offroad possibilities!
iceland dh

I rather prefer landscapes that have vegetation.
Naples in upstsate NY -
There are so many iconic places I've never even been to yet (Moab, Fruita, Pisgah, etc...) that I wouldn't need to get too exotic. :)

A friend of mine recently spent like a month riding around Vietnam and said it was sensational! You never know where good riding might happen!
A Small group of us went to Letchworth state park at +2hr from Hamilton this summer.
it's sometimes called the Grand Canyon of the east.
It could be called exotic.
Certainly a top 10 daytrip, from a technical, cardio, endurance, as well as epic vistas perspective.
never heard of Letchworth.
I'm guessing in new york?
lots of trails?
just found it on google maps

That is a fantastic ride. You can rent the cabins in the park too and make it a ride-out/ride-in. Last time we were there, the fireflies were insane. They were like fireworks!

EDIT: yep, upstate NY and the cabins are very rustic - don't go expecting luxuries like running water or electricity - but they're right on the trail.
Just south of Ellicotville NY
There may be more, but we did a single loop of the valley.
It was (I'm terrible with numbers) about 50 k of prime singletrack.
The loop took about 6 hrs from what I recall.
For sure one of us has a Garmin file.
sounds great.
thanks
