IF Deluxe stock geometry question

885 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  JohnInRI
Hi all,
I have a newish to me '05 18 inch stock geometry steel Deluxe SS. Set up with a stock IF rigid fork. Is there anyway to tell if the bike will take a suspension fork without messing up the geometry? And if so. If it needs an 80 or 100mm? Yes I know, sacralige to most of you. :(
Any help appreciated.

Thank you,
John

You might find more answers on ifrider.com. Register your bike and join the madness:D . Its a website just for IF owners. I bought mine new, so the fork was already figured into the build.
Thanks, I'm hooking up there now :)
You could just measure the axle-to-crown of the fork you currently have, and the offset and see where that compares to the suspension fork you're looking for. Probably the easiest way.

Sounds good, thanks!
