I searched the forum but didn't find anything on this tool. Does anyone have experience using this crown race remover? It's a helluva lot cheaper than the park tool at $35, and more compact to boot. It still requires you to tap with a hammer to loosen the race, but looks like it wouldn't damage the race.

its a bearing splitter and works just like the park tool one except the puller is not attached. harbor freight has bearing splitters too, about the same price as the ice toolzzzzz
