Heya all, I have an Ibis Tranny 26, was wondering for any owners out there, what travel length, fork wise, works best for the bike without upsetting the the balance of the bike?

It looks like 100mm is stock?

I ride mixed terrain and aiming to be using the bike for all around riding from Bay Area to Sierras including trials, light jumping, pump track, ss, endurance, ‘gravel’ rides, and occasional fun ss xc racing, etc

I am 5’6 and some change, so bar height is a concern.

Thanks!

I would not go past 120mm. If you do change from 100mm, then pulling the rear triangle back a bit further would keep your bb low to not upset that bikes superb handling. That may not be the easiest thing to do with your SS though.

Awesome! I forgot to mention I am currently running a rigid fork.

So 100mm is the sweet spot? 120mm is bit too much without adjusting the stays?

Cheers
I never had 120mm on mine. I bet it could be done, but I don't think it was designed for it. I just think raising the bottom bracket with it might compromise the handling.
