... turns out my core is just a little sore and achy from my single speed ride yesterday on difficult trails. Can't remember the last time I was sore after an 8 mile ride :ROFLMAO:
Never underestimate a one speed automatic! They are devious, they get you thinking you are riding very well and then it hits ya! All those sedentary muscles that were working hard out there in mountain bike land are sore as sore gets!

8 miles??!!?!?! I get about 800 YARDS and I'm looking for a shifter.

But hey, good on ya for getting on it. I'm back after a long hiatus and share your pain. Somehow, despite the "break in period" I still LOVE ss!

I rode the single speed on Tuesday after a working out arms and chest on Monday. Usually after working out arms and chest it doesn't really effect my rides. But on some of the big efforts steep sections where I'm pulling up on the bar like I'm doing a deadlift to generate power to mash down I could really feel it in my pecs too.

raises glass I'll drink to that lol

It's a strange smile that singlespeeding brings at times. Half smile, half grimace (and I don't mean McDonald's), however always a great feeling at the end when collapsing on the back patio lol
I saw a bloke purring along that looked like 🤪 ! Had to be you on a one speed automatic!

That is what exertion does to a slap happy bloke mountain biking with one gear between two wheels! Just ask Sunspot! :sneaky:

Edit: Had a little spine adjustment as part of my physical therapy. Pissed it right off! After it settles in, the result will be worthy.
