i was given a mongoose 700c grom a family member it may have 10 miles on it. hell maybe not even that much it looks new.

im a bigger guy. i like this bike as a cruiser has kinda a bmx look to it with out paying a bunch for a big ripper. it was free so im thinking of tearing it down rebulding it

im thinking some new big pedals, and maybe some continental cyclocross tires. also rebuilding it cause it's a Walmart job. just a fun project. it was $100.00 bike for free so im willing to put $100.00 into it

any opinions on what to buy.

If its a bso from wally's then yes, you will have to tear it all apart and put it back together properly. Upgrading the parts as you go. Department store minimum wage workers dont care how they put the bike together, all they care about is break time, lunch time and getting off work.

Get a new bottom bracket and headset, pedals and levers.
