no helmet!!! call the mtn bike police!! lol
got to papago park, unloaded everything and realized that i had NO helmet! there's a first time for everything, i guess. i debated if to ride, but opted to do so, but skip going to the jumps area to catch 6 to 8 feet of air. instead i rode around the golf course and the small butte taking extra care and shooting some pics of:

downtown tempe
downtown phoenix
piestawa peak
and my dusty fork

yawn...i really wanted to jump...

I don't have to worry about helmet hair :)

I guess if your going to forget your helmet. The loop around papago golf course is a good place to do so.
I NEVER wore a helmet ripping around and jumping everything in sight on my BMX bike as a kid - funny how things change! I guess when I grew up kids had more respect for speed and danger. Now - always a helmet!

i did worse: back when i lived in Texas i rode my 450 honda and 650 yamaha motorcycles without a helmet. oh youth, why is it wasted on the young???
OMGosh. No helmet? You are surely going to hell. :D

I'll admit...yes helmet Nazis...I'm openly admitting...sometimes I ride around my neighborhood...helmetless!

The breeze in the hair does feel good...and hell, it's probably good to get in a few minutes every now and then -helmetless- to feel that same thing you did as a kid.

But I wear a helmet 100% of the time now. No exceptions.
10 second rule.

I crash in 10 seconds if I ride without helmet. Dumb Irish luck. If I cover all bases and noggin... I get away with just about anything scary! Tempt fate or God... well you guess the outcome. Kudos...the irishbikeguy.
