i have the dart 1 on my Fisher Wahoo that i bought new back in 07. the fork has treated me pretty well but its beat and its in need of a replacement. its amazing that its held up for 4 years, but i only weigh 140 pounds. I ordered the Marz 44 rlo, but it is on backorder for another 2 weeks. not in much of a hurry really but it gives me some time to think. is this upgrade really worth it? or is there a better idea? I mostly ride XC but still jump on occasion and i want a fork thats gonna be smooth and give me a nicer ride for under or around $400

Isn't the 44 RLO a 140mm travel fork, kind of long for a Wahoo. You might want to stick with something a little closer to the correct 100mm travel that the frame is designed for. I would check out the Manitou Drake, can be found around $300 in the 100mm travel version and is actually a better fork than the 44 RLO.
