I climbed Kennedy today and I got a lifetime PR!! WADA is still examining the data and the urine samples.

The coolest thing is I had energy at the top. So I just went through and did the three biatches. Then after descending Woods Trail I just turned right and climbed Dog Meat.

Then as I got home, my kid was waiting for me as he wanted to do jumps. He's not allowed to do them solo yet. I set up some lights and it was on. He was schooling me!

Anyway, I'm going to tap one of these fine beers. I got my eye on the Amber Boch that I snaked from the Superbowl ride.

Congrats on PR!. One of these days I need to come up and ride the Kennedy Climb. Read so much about it on the forum. Curious Francois...you training for something? You riding pretty hard and fast it appears.

Here it is!

Kennedy is 36:06. I used a full suspension 4-inch bike. Front was locked out and rear was open. Tires were Specialized Renegade tires at 20 psi.

The map looks like a lollipop!! My record will never get beaten cause it is just a hideous loop and no one's gonna do it.

I'm not training for anything. I'm just taking advantage of the sun. I have a beer and a bag of chips every night and I guess I get quality sleep.

Jeez man!! That was a heck of a ride. What a kick butt time too. Is this a test bike? the stars must have aligned for you today. Maybe the pre road ride helped loosen you up. My Garmin is ready to go and I will add some elevation tomorrow. Did you make it up dogmeat without a dab?

I left my floor pump at work and my hand pump would only go up that high

It was fine on the climbs but it felt like a noodle descending Woods and Kennedy.

I felt loose. What I really like is I wasn't smoked after the best effort climbs. So maybe I wasn't trying hard enough. Normally I collapse at the tops but I felt good. Yesterday, I could not climb at all so that was actually a good sign.

On Dogmeat, I had two major dabs. I just ran up the effin hill. It is probably faster to go as hard as you can, then run up the steeps there.

I'm using a sweet Specialized tire that looks like an inner tube. It's like an inner tube with pimples and it mounts tubeless. I'm more proud of my descents since the bike was two wheel drifting the whole time!

It's a record for me at 45 years old and I beat my Kings of Kennedy time in full competition pace. And I beat my old times from 8 years ago when I used do this hill a lot.

Also cool I rode with the rear shock fully active and quit being a hardtail locked-out fanatic. It helped my back and helped keep me fresh I think.
