So, last weekend, I landed on my wrist pretty hard and tweaked it. Next weekend is a race I've been looking forward to for a couple months... It's 2:30+ for me and rocky & technical...
At first I was sure it was sprained pretty bad, but it's feeling much better today. More of a strain?(what's the difference?) I'm going to ride some this weekend and see how it goes, but I know somebody has ridden with a twisted wrist before... I keep picturing something like a skateboarder or fruitbooter would wear, but able to ride in?
I have bee nicing it some, and keeping it wrapped some at work as well... Suggestions?

Tape it. You could use try that weird taping method but I don't think that would work to well on your wrist while riding a bike. You don't need to much motion in your wrist while riding so many of the benefits are diminished. I would just use regular athletic tape and tape it up to limit your range of motion and keep pressure on it to keep the swelling (and pain) down. shave the spot you are going to tape so it doesn't pull off your hair out or you could use pre wrap but it starts sliding around when you start to sweat so unless it is cold out I would avoid it.

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to try the tape this afternoon. I don't know why I didn't think of that... I just got the generic sports tape so I'll see how that works out. Ice in the evening and an ace bandage at work have helped a bunch this week. Gonna ride the next few days and experiment with the tape... Race next Saturday, so hopefully it'll keep improving...
