and it looks great. It is replacing the worn out Digital night owl battery. I followed Metroid's FAQ's about lighting systems, and it looks good. Changed the config to a flat pack, to fit better in my jersey pocket. As soon as I track down a soldering iron, I am in business. Photos and a performance review to follow. BTW, cost for 5 4500mah batteries (6V total) wired in sequence, and zapped (shrink wrapped), with shipping, $40.75. The NR pack that it replaces is $89.00 in the one catalog I have right now.The batteries are EXACTLY the same, without the NR plug. (already have that.) Later.

Just curious if they added any type of resettable thermal fuse like the one that came on your original pack.

I ordered the pack pre-zapped, but it looked like there is a fuse in place

I told the fellow that I ordered from what the intended application was, and he was on it. So for, the burn time is just shy of 2 hours, but that is only the second burn. I figure it will go 2 hours at peak output. I give BatteryStation two thumbs up so far. Later.
