Norcal folks, help me out. I'm working on a special little project and I need some good photos of all things Downieville. And they don't have to be just ride shots, but anything that captures the spirit of camping and trail riding in this little gem of the northern Sierras. Pictures of road signage, pints of beer, the river, the saloon or any old buildings, trees, the Buttes, wildlife, etc. I'd love to see what you have!

Post what you've got here and if I need a higher resolution image, I'll ask ya. Thanks for your help!

Oh, and these images should serve to get us stoked for the upcoming high sierra season, too.

Perfect, guys! This is exactly what I'm looking for. Keep 'em coming. Trust me, you're contributing to something very cool. That's all I can say for now.

Jruth- your 49 sign. Perfect, dude. Thanks!

Mike, yep, I dug thru PJ's files. I've poached a few so far.

Loki- you're making me jones for the summer. I'll see I can use one of your photos.

Which one? The one of me walking (pre trail) or Mike riding (grand opening). The cool thing about those pics is that they were taken nearly 1 year apart.

Signs

I've always thought the STOP sign in the background ruined that picture... I've always wanted to photoshop it out - but I'm no good with photoshop......

The picture of me going through the water is a SCOTT MOSHER pic - so credit him if you use that one please...
