For almost the last 2 years I have REALLY enjoyed my 5 Spot. My issue which I feel much guilt over is I have not greased the bushing pivots as much as I should. I don't believe I have any problems but could anyone tell me if I have done damage to them, how would I know? I now feel I don't deserve to own a Turner now. I'm such a loser!!

Put the non-drive side crank arm parallel to the chainstay. With one hand squeeze the chainstay and crank arm together firmly. With the other hand, slide your fingers between the crank and stay so that you can spread them with your thumb pushing in on the stay and your fingers pushing out on the crank. Alternate back and forth with one hand squeezing and the other spreading and look very closely at the pivot near the bb for any play. If you can see movement, then the pivot is worn and needs help. If not, abuse it another couple of years and repeat.
