I bought a set of nuke proof hubs off of ebay. After I got them built up I reallzed the rear axel was ruined. The shoulder on one side that supports the bearing is almost completely warn off. Typical... about every third thing I get off of ebay is crap. Anyways, I was hopping to get a new one machined. The end caps could use some set screws too. The old axel is titanium, but I am sure stainless steel would work just fine and be a whole lot cheaper. Ti would be cool too, just figured it would be a lot harder too come by. Anyways I was wondering if any of you are machinist, know a machinist, or have used one in the past for specialty parts. I am currently in Fort Collins but I could drive / send the part pretty much anywhere. Rough measurements make it about 1cm in diameter at the thickest part ( where the bearing shoulder is) with about a 5mm hole in the middle for the skewer, and it is about 45cm long.
