I was doing a full rebuild of my 2011 Monarch RT3. MM3. I missed the part where I should have used a pick to slide the shim stack onto it to keep them together. I had no idea the main piston came apart like that. Anyways, I can't get my shock to work now. I know it is 10 years old but if anyone out there has the original order diagram I would greatly appreciate it! I have been searching for a day and haven't found one yet. SRAM Tech is out of the office until the new year. Thanks!

Thanks for this! It's a 2013 and my shims don't completely match but I think it gives me a better general idea. I am currently waiting for a caliper to show up in the mail in case I need to measure the shims. I will certainly respect the shim stack order from now on!

One thing I thought of, my compression ball looked a little beat up. Maybe this is the problem. Also, before inserting the main piston I forgot to press in the poppet valve. Maybe both of these are to blame...

I turned the bigger valve the other way. The rebound now works but not the lockout (or at least not as much I can really notice). I am OK with that unless there is something else obvious I am missing. This is my "back up" shock. I wanted some practice rebuilding one as my wife and I both have other RS shocks. I sure do appreciate your help! Thank you so much!
