I tried one, a different animal from any of the 29ers I have had. Not a bad, thing it is just different. Heavier, that is for sure. A lot more cushion too. I wouldn't want one as my only bike, but it is surely a cool tool for the trails. It would roll over stuff fine, but the gearing needed to be different than my 29er, mainly because of the heavier bike and me being not strong enough to get the wheels going as quickly. I am comparing both built up as single speeds (the Pug and the 29er).
