but it is quite common with the Truvativ xr post according to reviews.
What I need to know is it ok to use a 27.2 post in my 04 Hollowpoint. It came with a 27.0
but I have a 27.2 and it slid in without forcing it. It is a bit snug but I did no more than twist it a few times to get it in.
For the record my post was not exposed beyond the minimum, it has about an inch of space before it hits the min line.

I'm using a 27.2mm Thomson post with my '04 Hollowpoint. I know (from reading past posts) that a number of other folks are using 27.2mm posts too. If you wind up using a 27.2mm post, just make sure that you grease it well so that it doesn't get stuck.
