Sorry to hear about the loss, but one thing that strikes me first is:
Why do people still post on the board before they talk to Turner?

As far as being sorry for the loss, don't be. I am not mad in any way shape or form. I know that Turner will take care of me, and this is one of the many things that goes along with Mountain Biking. Now if I had another brand of frame then I would be worried, but this is one of the reasons that I ride a Turner. I know that I won't be left high and dry if something not so happy happens.Jerk_Chicken said:Sorry to hear about the loss, but one thing that strikes me first is:

Close, you are very warm!RedRocker said:Above the lower shock mount?
You are correct:thumbsup: . Now I just need to call Turner tomarow and figure out the details.rroeder said:That design normally breaks at the bottom of the pivot support where it meets the seattube, below the weld.
It is one of the original design without the gusset, and it is one of the Horst link frames.Bob the Wheelbuilder said:Did your frame have the second generation gusset or the original flux design without the additional piece welded on? Is it a Horst or TNT rear?
Too bad about the break, Turner will take care of you for sure, though.
All should be good and up and running again soon. I think that you are refering to the ID not the OD of the seat tube, if the OD was increased then there would be no way to put a der. clamp on it, but if the ID was increased then all would be good. I think that the current frames have an extra gussett to spread out the stress/load a bit more.cactuscorn said:drag, speedy. the new one should cure this issue in the future. think they upped the od of the s/t as well. on a side note, its good to see ya round these parts again. welcome home.
