Looks like the second annual Hurricane Utah mountain bike fest is shaping up to be a great time.

We have a nice venue, food available Friday and Saturday nights. A good local band Satuday night until 10pm and beer available.

Some of the nice local folks will be leading rides on Gooseberry, JEM/Hurricane Rim/Goulds, Guacamole, Grafton Mesa, Little Creek Mesa and other trails. Join us or head out on your own for fun and adventure.

Please come on down or up and support this event. Many of us are donating our time and effort so you all have a great experience, so take advantage of us:thumbsup:

Yikes! 6 of us are headed up Friday; we didn't know about the fest. Will we have a tough time finding camping on the mesa or do most attendees stay in town?

There are plenty of pre-existing camping spots up on Gooseberry. You should have no problems at all. Weather looks like it is going to be fantastic.

^^ Thanks, Monte!

I just found out that JEM trail will be closed for a marathon on Saturday. Do you know the hours of the closuse (seems like it would open up in the afternoon)? Thanks.

We'll be hitting the JEM like a VW piñata at exactly 4PM:thumbsup:
