I rode up there last Wed. A half dozen or so new downed trees, a few shallow water crossings, and some deeper ruts. All in all very rideable. Just keep a keen eye out for new things in the trail. And yes the snow is gone except for tiny patches in the shade.
Thanks for the replies. My group rode there Sunday and did a 16 mile ride from the campground that didn't include the most northern loop. By San Diego standards it needs a couple more weeks to dry out but we had fun overall. It is also deeply rutted in some areas but I think the local trail elves are planning to work on it soon.
