Found a tire I like (finally!). But it’s discontinued. Shop over the pond has 5 in stock for blowout, thought I’d pick up a couple for the future, but don’t want them to rot in a bin in the garage while I wear through the first one.

any tips for storing new tires?

I always have an inventory of tires, WTB's and Kenda's. Some with have been in "storage" for as much as nearly 3 years for the bikes that aren't ridden much. I keep them on a shelf in the garage with no climate control. Climate here is 50's in the winter with 40%+ humidity, and 100+ summers at 80% humidity. I've never had any issues with tires going bad.

i have my similar out of production tires in the beer fridge to keep temp low and slow any additional rubber curing.

but if your super fussy, get a rubbermaid tub then drop by a welding shop or other and have them fill it with argon and snap the lid on
