Hey folks,
Until yesterday I've never done a thing to my '00 Enduro's Stout rear hub. It's always worked well and everything is still very tight with no play. I had the wheel off to replace the cassette and noticed it wasn't as smooth or quiet as I'd like, and the freehub is a lot noisier than it used to be. I removed the nuts on either side of the axle, but can't figure out where to go from here. These are cartridge bearing hubs, right? Is there any way I can inject some grease into the bearings? I'd like to remove and grease the freehub as well, but it seems the cartridge bearing is in the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Is this a job better left to the LBS?
