I have mechanical disk brakes and when I take off a wheel and put it back on, the disk often rubs against the brake pads. It's kind of a pain having to realign the pads. Is there a way to avoid this so the disks are evenly aligned with the pads when I put the wheel back on?

Honestly, there is no way to prevent a minor readjustment when taking a wheel off with a quick release. I have to remove my front wheel everytime I go out, and it most always requires a little tweaking to get everything setup nicely.
