Thought I would share this on the forum since you guys have helped me before. Here are some instructions on how to make a cheap but effective headset cup remover. Tool doesnt cost a dime if you can find the EMT and have the tools to do it. I used it and it worked perfectly to replace my headset on my 09 GF Wahoo.

Items.

1. 12 inch long piece if 3/4 inch EMT conduit
2. Ruler
3. Angle grinder with cut off wheel or hacksaw
4. File

Instructions:

Mark the conduit with 4 equal lines 7 inches from the tip.

Cut the lines straight with the tools of your choice ( I used a angle grinder )

Use the file to remove burrs and any roughness on the tips.

Bend the 4 sections outwards a bit. Dont bend them too much. Slightly bigger than your headtube is fine. It will conform to the size once put in.

You get the below tool.

Awesome. Thanks for posting. I basically did the same thing for the press but with a threaded rod and some washer stacks. Works very well and was free too.
