I bought an F29 on E-bay that was supposed to be 100mm of travel. However, it doesn't seem to have anywhere near that

I pulled the fork apart to see if it had the infamous spacer, but there wasn't one. I can't find any kind of unique marks or numbers on the fork either.

Anyone know of a way to determine if the fork I bought as 100mm travel is actually set up for that?

Let the air out, bottom the fork, measure the travel. Or, just measure the exposed stanchions - should be about 105mm.

exposed stanchion = 101 mm
letting air out an bottoming fork out = 95mm

I suppose that is close enough.
