Hello,

I've never been able to do a true bunny hop but decided this year I will learn how or get frustrated trying. I can bounce both wheels up a bit but my understanding is that a bunny hop is front wheel and then rear wheel? Is there some kind of training progression or a guide available? Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks.

http://members.tripod.com/~trashzen/ is another good one, it's a trials rider's website, but it has some really detailed descriptions of the techniques for bunny hopping and various other useful (and not so useful unless you're a trialer) skills.

The trick to bunny hopping is all in the arms, you have to pull up AND forwards as you retract your legs after jumping hard, he recommends practicing without clipless pedals but I'm too much of a pansy to give that a try :)
