Recently built a Turner with a Fox DHX Air 5.0 and need some advice on how best to tune the shock for me. I have not been albe to find a manual to explain the finer points of this shock. Any suggestions on finding some instructions? Want to come over and show me how to do it?
I'm 99.9% sure you can download a DHX manual from the Fox website, which will explain what the different adjustments do. You might also try Turner, hopefully they have a suspension setup guide specific to their bikes.
I run 195-205 psi, I put about 130psi in the boost chamber and no clicks of either boost blue adjuster. I weigh 200 in gear. More than 205psi and she slams off on the climbs. Less than 190 and the pedals hit everything. Its tricky to dial it in and seems to lose about 5 psi a week with new seals. But its never blown a seal or left me stranded. More drops=more boost psi.
